The other difference for me is that at the end of my run i fairy ring to the fisher king realm and blow the whistle to get to the brimhaven fruit tree patch. Camelot teleport can be used here too. Depends on the tree in my opinion. Deaths from using ultra compost is 1/10 and paying is 0 chance of dying. So if the cost of paying the farmer is like 1/10 or less of the seed cost it is worth to pay otherwise i would just use ultra compost. ( i always payed the farmers ) You can save a few seconds by using slayer ring for the stronghold tree patch or just run to it as you do the fruit patch. Unlocking teleports through two more quests enables easy access to another regular tree patch and two more fruit tree patches.
